Dress #356 Staying Warm

Still cold here in Paris, and everyone is layering wool over wool. A marvelous red pinstripe jumper layered over one of my dad's old knit ties.

Dress #341 Winter White

Paris is filled with women wearing belted coats this year! They look so well put together. Inspired by them, today's dress is a belted coat dress in winter white. Craft felt, and a couple of bibelots.

Dress #320 Quilted Silk

One more really cold night here in Paris, and then it will warm up a bit. Quilted anything is warm, so today we have a quilted silk vest over a blouse and skirt. Silk tie fabric, twill ribbon, and other miscellaneous bits and pieces.

Dress #96 It's a Wrap

A tailored wrap dress for today. A bit dark and somber, but just like the weather today. A good business dress.

Dress #88 French General

A simple linen shirtdress with red top-stitching. Natural linen with red accents is a typical French look. There's also a shop and designer called "French General" and this has that style, too.

Dress #37 March Forth

This date has always been special to me---an end of winter and a way of moving forward to the rest of the year. I always kept my celebration private, as the concept strikes some people as strange. Imagine my delight when I meet my husband and discover that he "celebrates" it as well. He writes a letter to his now-grown daughter every year. The idea of marching gives a military flavor, so we have this dress for today:
