Dress #74 Eva Bascombe

Another treasure today. This is one of a set of note cards with this lovely pinky, peachy formal dress. The card set is attributed to Eva Bascombe, and the company is located in Jacksonville, Florida. I have no recollection of buying these, but I suppose it is possible that I've had them since we were in Jacksonville. Sigh, I love the dress. I love Jacksonville.

Dress #48 In Memory...

Three years ago today, my father died. This dress, actually a Christmas ornament from Hobby Lobby, was bought the last time I went shopping with him. It holds a special place in my heart with my memories of him.

This is one of my treasures---a box with a domed lid with this colorful and inspiring dress motif. So far, it is empty, but one of these days I'll find the right thing to secret away in there.
