I love how embossed paper looks and feels, so I used it for the skirt of this dress. Good for a math teacher, maybe?

Dress #82 Waxing Elegant

I was playing experimenting with embossing some waxed paper this morning. The medium is difficult to emboss---it tears easily. But I liked the look of the damask on the waxed paper. A lovely dress for a summer dance, I think.

Dress #3 Coke Can

This uses a technique I've wanted to try for some time. I flattened a Coke can (no, I didn't drink it) ran it through the Sizzix with an embossing folder, colored with alcohol inks, and then just cut out a dress shape with a ribbon belt. I like this, but think it can be improved. I have many more chances to do that!
