Dress #313 Gala Black and Gold

Gold lamé  and black velvet---I thought Yves St. Laurent had done a dress very much like this but I couldn't find an image on-line. I like the combination. Simple and elegant. Recycled fabric from a gold top that I loved to wear with gray flannel trousers, and a piece of double faced black velveteen ribbon.

    Wow - tres chic for the New Year! And you wore this gold fabric in a top with gray slacks? Must have been a very festive occasion! But then, just a little bit of glitz goes a long way.

      I thought the gold with the gray flannel was just the right combination for a party at someone's house where you want to be festive but not "dressed."
