This is new fabric---directly from Hong Kong, and the black is the perfect drape for this scale of dress! Unfortunately, you can't really tell in this dress or photograph. Fabric, ribbon, and a sparkly bibelot from who-knows-where.
Eileen, it is mesh, too, but a bit stiffer than the black. I'm going to be experimenting with this stuff. The black drapes so nicely, so next time I might try draping it over a lighter underlining so that it photographs better.

It's hard to tell the white fabric in the photo. It looks textured, or mesh, or lace?
