Mille-feuille (thousand leaves) is also a pastry. I painted watercolors in autumn colors, and punched out maple and oak leaves. Paper, watercolors, ribbon. I love this dress.
Oh, I love it too. So much nicer than the blah show of colo this fall. And what work you put into it! You learned something in watercolor class ;-) Mmm, a pastry?
Oh I would love to wear a dress like this. I can just imagine it with the leaves cut out with a soldering iron from layers of organza - but how many hours would it take! I love all your dresses but this one especially so.
Color! love it....

ReplyDeleteYes, this one was a bit of work! The pastry here is the one you know and love as a Napoleon. Obviously, it wouldn't be called that here.
DeleteOh, of course. Great name for a luscious pastry.
