Dress #280 Lace Bib

I'm surprised at how different a lace motif looks when it is isolated and turned upside down. Almost like an Aztec sun god. Cotton, lace and ribbon.

  1. Just recently started keeping up with your dresses after you posted on Creative Machine. I sent the link to my colleagues and students in the fashion dept. at a community college.
I think they are wonderful creative exercises.

I'd love for you to post a photo of how you store these...perhaps on day 366?

    1. Hi, Sandy. Thanks for the comments, and for taking the time to look at and share my project. I haven't decided how I'm going to store/display them at the end. I've moved from Baltimore to Paris (temporarily) so I have the first 235 back in in Baltimore. Obviously, some of them can't be stored. I might make a shadow box display with my top 25. I'm overwhelmed with just how much volume 366 dresses is going to be! Currently I'm just keeping them in boxes---decorative boxes to be sure, but just boxes. Any suggestions would be welcome.

      Thanks again,

  2. I love this dress. Sort of ethnic, primitive, bohemian, and elegant all rolled into one. Very much what I would like my style to be.

    1. This is your style, no aspiration needed! And, of course, you have put exactly the right words on it.
