Dress #265 Blue Mesh Lace

This interesting fabric is from Reine in Montmartre. Not only do they have the most wonderful dresses on 1/2 scale mannequins, they always have some exotic fabrics to tempt me. This is very airy, light, yet still holds its shape. Continuing my exploration in black, white and deep blue, I used it as an overlay. The belt is a small piece of blue ribbon yarn.

      I love making the party dresses! I tried various embellishments on this dress, but didn't like any of them. The mesh on the dress looks prettier in reality.

      Thanks, Kim. Yes, it does seem that the time is flying by. Now I'm concerned that I won't try all my ideas, but I suppose that is better than running out of ideas! At this point, 100 doesn't seem like many.
