Dress #101 Gala at the Met

Tonight is the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. One could wear this dress, although most are more glitzy. Technically, this dress is made of a new novelty yarn designed for knitting a ruffly scarf. I'll use it for trim on a sweater rather than a scarf.

  2. Very pretty dress!

Can't imagine a whole sweater of ruffly lace yarn though, or will it be decorative accents? Will you show us when you've knit it?

    1. Yes, just accents, and sure, I'll share. I'm considering modifying an existing sweater, so it might be very soon.
