Dress #164 Geek Chic

Most of you probably don't remember these computer punch cards. I was very familiar with them---most programmers and developers today find it hard to believe that we sometimes waited up to 48 hours  to see if our code ran correctly. This dress is made from old Fortran punch cards, and the innards of my Fitbit which bit the dust the other day. In the old days, the rubber band was usually a bracelet---not a necklace.

  3. No, I confess I had to buy them. Some guy is Los Alamos apparently has a service reading, converting and selling them! But once I had the idea, I just had to follow through.
